That is so awesome! We are very proud of you! Wait to the rush you get when you are on the field, in Beaver Stadium, in front of 100,000 people with the Blue Band! Even though we are PITT fans, and Penn State is scared to play PITT, Simone is looking forward to making the trip to Happy Valley to see you on the field!

Wouldn't it be great if we could take the girls to a game this year to cheer on Nicolette!!!! That atmoshpere is amazing and the pre-game festivities are awesome!
I just checked the PSU Football Schedule for 2009. Penn State is playing Ohio State, at PSU, on November 7th! Tickets are very difficult to come by at Happy Valley, so we will have to start looking into it now. It might be easier to get a group of tickets for a game that is not against a big opponent. I will check it out and let everyone know what I find out!

PENN STATE MAJORETTE!
Penn State is playing Akron on Saturday, September 5th, at 1:00 pm, at Beaver Stadium. We are trying to organize a group of us to go and support Nicollette as she steps on the field for the first time as a member of the Penn State Majorettes! Alexis Sich is also a member of the Akron Dance Line, so we may have the opportunity to see two Shining Stars permform at half time, for two different Divison I schools!
The atmosphere at Penn State on game day is amazing! It would be a great experience for the girls, from the pre-game band festivities, to seeing Nicollette on the field for the first time, to being at a Penn State game with over 100,000 other people.
Penn State football games are already sold-out! We will need to purchase our tickets through StubHub, or another on-line ticket market outlet. I did check StubHub and tickets in the endzone, at the top, start at around $85 to about $100 each, and are sold in groups of 2 and 4. So, we would not all be able to sit together at the game, but we could try to buy as many groups of 4, as we can.
If you are interested in going to the Penn State-Akron game on Saturday, September 5th, please let me know by FRIDAY, MAY 1st, and let me know how many tickets you will need to purchase. We will try to divide into even groups and try to get tickets as close to one another, as we can. Either, you can purchase the tickets yourself via an on-line ticket market outlet, or I can purchase them and then you can reimburse me. Once we see how many people are going and how many tickets we need, we can see what is the easiest way.
